Though she loses herself and her sense of time, surroundings and being when painting nature, it’s painting the humanity from life that touched Srishti to the deepest part of her core. She feels in touch and connected with these models and can feel the joy they are experiencing or the pain they are suffering through, their struggle to survive and their will to thrive; their emotions guide her as she puts down the shapes and colors variations of their physical being.
They say “Every portrait is a self portrait.” Srishti feels that by being able to touch the soul of the model she finds a hidden part of her own being.
