On my recent trip the spectacular Grand Canyon stood out in all it’s glory of setting sun, showing itself through the branches of a contorted pine which was trying to survive in the harsh many-colored land.

“The Many-Colored Canyon” was created on 1-1/2″ canvas, with the painting continued around the edges.
