Landscapes

The wild longing in my soul for being surrounded by the – once harsh and then again soothing- beauty of Nature inspires me to translate Herself on the canvas. When I am not out there on the wild trails of the Southwest tangled with brushes and cat’s-claw I try to fulfill my longing and rest my wild spirit in my studio lost on the canvas tangling with shapes and color.

All my landscapes are a translation of the places I have visited and witnessed the beauty of, either directly with plein air paintings or in my studio.
