I dearly hope you are going to paint through the zodiac – it would be so exciting. You have captured all of the characteristics and strength of Aries here in this composition – i want more please! Bring on THE BULL!
on the others in the series… Though it is not the Zodiacal series but a planetary series. 😀 Sun, Moon, Mars are done… Next are Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu (the noth node of the moon) and Ketu (the south node). These are based on the description in the ancient astrological scriptures from India. I did Sun in Spring last year… the moon just dragged on through the summer :O… Now I have resolved to do one planet a month and get this finished ASAP. The zodiacal series is planned too… but sometime in future… After the planetary series I want to do a Tarot series ;D
