2014-3-19 at Granite Mountain

Yet another attempt at this beautiful mountain in my backyard. This is the first painting after I came back from Eric Merrell’s workshop in the Anza Borrego Desert State Park, CA. What a beautiful place, so inspiring! I will be posting the paintings from the workshop too. Not my favorites as in a complete body of work, but a lot of learning and internalizing.
